Its been a long time coming but now I can confidently say that Shootthebikerace is back and rearing to go. In its first incarnation I focussed on events I had photographed and stories around these. Again there will be plenty of that but with a heady mixture of interviews, archive stuff, photography items and tests and plenty of reports from across the world of cycling. I will also be championing the new women’s development squad,  Sunsport WRT and will have an ongoing commentary on their season including race reports, interviews and sponsor information. Also look out for the Q and A section (clue, not many cycling related questions)

Above everything else though it will be fun, controversial and occasionally off the wall. It’s a reincarnation and also a start from scratch so I need to build up a following again. Many of you will know me from my cycling events photos and I need you all on board. I will be picking on some of you for interviews and opinions and maybe the odd guest spot. Play ball please. Let’s grow this thing and make it another outlet in which to publicise our sport. Any event I attend will be reported on and all publicity is good publicity. Look out for the first post
